100G/40G/10G Ethernet

The speed of network links is ever increasing. It is relevant in all network-related environments including data centers, backbone networks, and core links. The widely deployed 10G Ethernet is being replaced with 40G or directly with 100G Ethernet. In 10G networks, solutions based on commodity hardware lack the performance necessary to perform non-trivial tasks. In other words, Netcope cards can handle the latest technologies (100G Ethernet and 40G Ethernet) and they make it possible to build a high-density solution, aggregating multiple 10G links using optical breakout cable into a single network interface of the card. A single piece of hardware can be redeployed in each scenario simply by loading different firmware. This feature significantly simplifies transition plans and provides future investment protection.
